Old Macdonald...Had a Farm Cake

Another cute farm themed cake for a lucky boy's birthday. Pigs, cows, and ducks adorn this chocolate cake filled with salted caramel buttercream! Yum! The barn lifts off as an individual cake for the birthday boy as well to make it all the more special!

Peony Cake

This pretty cake was for a twin sister birthday. Purple being their favourite color, I decided on a marbled background with ethereal looking peonies and azaleas. One for each of them to keep.

Banana Peanut and Chocolate

This domed entremet consists of a peanut butter chocolate mousse encasing caramelized bananas, banana sponge, and peanut feuilletine. I decorated it with candied peanuts, banana chips, and butter toasted banana bread.

Mango Gianduja Entremet

This was a cake recipe I tried from the Bachour book. The recipes turned out great! I ended up doubling the recipe for the gianduja mousse though. The base is a dacquoise (I omitted the chocolate), gianduja mousse, a hazelnut praline layer, and mango cremeux. Mango fluid gel to dot the top and chocolate plaques to decorate!
